Our cartridge warranty: Full replacement or money-back guarantee. Click here for warranty details
We consider ourselves more than reasonable in dealing with customers and go the extra mile to make sure no one is disappointed. However, sometimes a few individuals make it difficult for everyone else. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone conducted themselves fairly and we wouldn't need lawyers and contracts to keep people honest? So while we would like to say 100% money-back guarantee, no questions asked, a few people have made it impossible to do this without adding some conditions. They can be summed up in two words: be reasonable.
If there is a problem with one or two of our cartridges, we will replace them. If three cartridges, we will refund the purchase price for those cartridges and any unopened ones returned within a reasonable amount of time. If your printer uses four different cartridges (black and 3 colors) and you opened four different ones, we will take those back. But don't open four or more of the same color and expect a refund. A reasonable time limit to return them is about a month. That doesn't mean we won't do it after 35 days, but at the same time we have to put some time limit on it since we have had a few people contact us many months later.
Why the limit of four opened cartridges? It is always possible that one or two were defective. This can happen (and has) even with genuine Epson products. But if it is three of the same color, this indicates a problem with the printer itself. What happens is the print head gets jammed. The printer reports out of ink. The customer puts in a new cartridges and it still won't print. The customer assumes the cartridge is defective and tries a second and perhaps a third. At that point, the customer should realize it is a printer problem. Even if the customer believes it to be a cartridge problem, if three don't work, there is no point in continuing to open the rest. Return them for a refund. But we did have at least one person order a dozen black cartridges, then return them all opened six months later, claiming they were all defective. We have to protect ourselves from other geniuses like that.
The problem really hit home when after explaining our policy to a prospective customer, the genius actually said, "If I buy your cartridges and they don't work, I want more than my money back." Another customer tried to charge back a large order on his credit card months later, claiming they were all defective. He never called or emailed. It would not have taken months to determine that an entire batch was defective. Fortunately, when we spoke to his credit card company, they agreed that our warranty was reasonable and since he made no attempt to contact us, they denied his charge back.
Naturally, if you buy a quantity of cartridges, we can't expect you to test them all within a month. So if you bought a quantity and a few months later find that one or two didn't work properly, we will replace it or add extra to your next order.
Note: the only thing our refill cartridges contain is ink. There is no chip on the refill. If your printer can't recognize the cartridge or reports that it is empty when it isn't, the problem is not with the refill but with the chip (or with the printer). We can not warranty the refills unless you are using our cartridges. If you bought a set of cartridges from us and have a problem with the cartridges or the refills, we will take care of it by replacing or refunding. If you bought the cartridges elsewhere and just the refills from us, we can not guarantee them because the problem is with the cartridge - not the refill. We do our best to make sure we don't sell refills alone to someone who has not bought the matching cartridges, but should you decide to go ahead anyway, it is at your own risk.
We supply schools, professional printers, and corporations. We do very little advertising. Most of our customers come to us by referral from other customers. We must be doing something right (and our cartridges must be working properly) to achieve this track record. As long as your expectations are reasonable, we will be more than reasonable.

| Our order delivery guarantee: We pride ourselves on filling orders quickly. However, due to delays in receiving supplies, we have at times run out of stock and experienced delays in filling orders. We have taken steps to prevent this, such as placing orders with three different suppliers and tripling the quantity. Even if two are delayed, we still have the third. If your paid order (paypal, google, check, money order) takes more than 48 hours to process from the time it was placed, or if your credit card order (which does not get charged until we ship) takes more than 72 hours to process, due to a delay on our end, you will will receive a free cartridge. This is in addition to any free cartridges you receive under our other promotions. |

Ink cartridge clearance sale
Epson's and Canon's dirty little secret...
Epson, Canon (and others) practically give away their printers because they make money on the cartridges. These little plastic containers filled with 50 cents of ink sell for $20 to $40. In an effort to keep the stranglehold on this windfall, they imply in the manual that there is some secret to these cartridges that other companies don't know and using another brand will ruin your printer. They top it off by putting in the warranty "warranty void if other brand cartridges are used." There is no secret to these cartridges. Chemists have determined the ink formula and duplicated it. For over three years I have been using and selling compatible cartridges. They work just as well as the name brand and seem to last even longer since the clone brands are more generous with the amount of ink they give you. In the very rare event that your Epson printer fails, Epson ships an immediate replacement and tells you to use the box it came in to ship your printer back. So even if you are using clone cartridges, by the time Epson discovers this, you will already have your replacement printer.
One of my customers had to take her Canon printer to an authorized service center. To her surprise, they replaced her empty Canon ink cartridges with a clone brand! If it's good enough for authorized Canon dealers, it's good enough for you!
I have had folks tell me, "I won't use some cartridge made in China." Guess what? Epson cartridges are also made in China. Possibly in the very same factory.
So don't worry about their scare tactics. Save over 75% by using clone cartridges. Our cartridges are guaranteed.

Here's an excerpt from a Computer Shopper article on cartridges:
Although companies can't legally void your warranty simply for using third-party toner or ink, most manufacturers warn that print quality and printer reliability may suffer, and most reserve the right not to cover the cost of repairing a printer damaged through the use of third-party cartridges. Printer manufacturers may exaggerate the risks of using such cartridges, but at least in some cases, their concerns seem justified. That said, plenty of people have long used third-party toners and inks without any problems.

We offer additional quantity discounts and discounts for repeat orders or for payment not done by credit card, such as check, money order, or Paypal using your balance or bank account. We also offer a free CD of 500 megs of free software, including a PRINTER UTILITY for Epson which, for most printers, replaces the one provided by the company. It shows you how much ink is in the cartridge with much more accuracy. It lets you reset the level (Epson printers may report empty cartridges when there is still 15% of the ink left). It lets you clean the black and color independently. Note: Not all printers have made it to the list of this utility, so you may have to experiment with close printers until you find a match. Not all features are available for all printers. These utilities are for PC only.

Important note about the recent Epson ruling and what it means:
Epson recently won a ruling allowing it to produce printers which refuse to work with compatible cartridges. This gives Epson a near-monopoly on ink for these printers. As a result, new Epson printers manufactured on or after March 2007 may not work with many of the compatible cartridges advertised on other sites. They WILL work with our cartridges. Printers manufactured before March 2007 are not affected. For example, T069 cartridges fit the CX5000, CX6000, CX7000F, CX7400, CX7450, CX8400, CX9400Fax, and C120. However, most compatible cartridges will not work with the later printers (CX7400, CX7450, CX8400, CX9400 or C120). The reason is because the chips on the later printers were designed to reject compatible cartridges unless they are 100% compatible (as ours are). The same holds true for the T078. Compatible ink manufacturers have to re-design their chips to work with the new printers, even though the cartridges are the same size and shape as before. Some cartridge sites are vague on this, either deliberately or through ignorance. They will advertise their T069 or other cartridges and then state "T069 cartridges work with the following printers:" and list the CX8400 and C120, without mentioning that their cartridges won't work with these.
A number of manufacturers have stopped making Epson compatible cartridges completely. We are already seeing higher prices on both genuine Epson cartridges and compatibles. Many sites which sold these have been out of stock for months.
Despite our rising costs on three fronts: the increased cost of the cartridges, higher shipping costs to us since they are now coming from Canada, and higher postal rates to ship them to you, our prices have even gone down! How did we achieve this? By buying in ever larger quantity. Not only did we get a discount on the per-cartridge price, bringing it down to the same price we used to pay before, the per-cartridge shipping cost is lower. It's cheaper to ship 500 cartridges at a time than to ship 5 boxes of 100 cartridges separately. But naturally it means we also have to sell more cartridges to maintain that level. We'd prefer to sell 100 cartridges at a time and make 25 cents each rather than sell 10 cartridges at a time, even if we make a dollar each. Keeping our costs down is all about volume, so please ask about volume discounts. We supply schools and companies.

Because Epson keeps changing their printers to foil the compatible manufacturers, the chips for these cartridges have to keep changing as well. This has caused a problem for manufacturers. As fast as they make their cartridges work, Epson changes the chip. That is why so many of our customers reported that they bought cartridges from other sites or on ebay which didn't work. What our manufacturer does is manufacture the chip last just in case Epson changes the printer. If he suspects a new model is coming out and the chip may change, he packs the chip in the cartridge box separate from the cartridge. This way he can produce and ship thousands of cartridges, and if the chip has to change, he can update and ship the chip separately. In this way you can be assured you are getting the latest version and not something outdated. So if the box says "clip on series" it means the chip is packaged separate from the cartridge. Before inserting the cartridge in the printer, clip this module on to the cartridge. It takes a second and is simple to do. Even a child can do it (and has).
Our advice to consumers is:
1) if you are buying a new printer, try to find an older model with readily available cartridges. There are plenty of deals on solid older models such as CX5000 and CX6000, R200, 300, 500, 800 and C88. But make sure they are new and unused. Unlike used cars, inkjet printers have a finite lifetime. Buying a used one is taking a risk that it could die tomorrow.
2) If you already have one of the later models, make sure the cartridges you buy will work. Just because they are the same Epson part number as another model is no guarantee. We have come across many T069 cartridges which don't work with the CX7400, CX7450, CX8400, CX9400 and C120. The same applies to cartridges for R260, R280, R380, RX580, RX595 and RX680. Many of the compatible cartridges are just not recognized by these printers. However, we have compatible cartrides which DO work with these printers, so you can order here with full confidence and a full guarantee. If you find them elsewhere, make sure you are ordering the correct ones. They have "nu" in the item code. Also, make sure they are NOT refills, which can damage your printer.
3) Sealed ink cartridges have a shelf life of at least two years (and we have used cartriges as much as 4 years past the expiration date without problem). If you find a good deal on cartridges, buy several. You may not be able to find them later. You will also get discount pricing and cheaper shipping.
